hey kids,
much love to the 100+ of you (a record for club cafe on a wednesday night) that came out in pittsburgh to check out a band from brooklyn that had never played a show before. we appreciate it and hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did.
visiting pittsburgh and having so many strangers (now friends) who made us feel like home is something we all miss about living in the midwest. we love nyc, but there’s nothing like earnest, friendly midwest-hospitality. seeing my sister for the first time in months was a bonus and marwan’s close friend, ian, has given us nothing short of royal treatment in opening his apartment for us to enjoy.
suffice it to say that we’re all looking forward to swinging through pittsburgh to see all you folks again. we dropped the ball and forgot our camera at ian’s place before the show, but good friends bailed us out. we’ll have photos for you as soon as they arrivge in our inboxes. in the mean time, off to akron tomorrow!
