individualism is for scabs.

i read that in a random book sitting on the coffee table of a small burger joint in prospect heights. i don’t know that it directly correlates to city breathing, but having just sat in a van with ron and marwan for the last 7 hours talking about  music, food, the increasing amount of chains in the midwest and how glorious it is to escape the urban jungle of new york city, it seems appropriate.

we’ve just loaded our gear into club cafe in pittsburgh and are finalizing a few computer back-ups before our soundcheck. apparently fourteen people have pre-payed for this event, which is good news (though i feel a little bad for the ticktweb (ticketmaster) fee that they probably had to cough up).
